How to read this document
- New to the code: read "What changed in v10.25", then Parts 1 and 2 for the build and boot, then the part for the area you want to change.
- Porting a program: go to Part 6; the step-by-step guide is in section 6.9.
- Chasing a bug: start with the troubleshooting table in section 12.9 and the serial log in section 12.5.
- Paths are relative to the root of the repository (since v9.83 the source tree is flat:
arch/,boot/,core/,drivers/,fs/, ... at the top).
