NoovexOS is a fast, Unix-like operating system built from scratch for running and building software. It ships its own kernel, package manager, UAC-style privilege prompts, signed .nvx packages, a recovery console, and its own web browser with a TLS 1.3 network stack.
| Project | NoovexOS |
|---|---|

| Architectures | x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) |
| Website | noovexos.site |
The kernel source is organised by subsystem and compiled as 153 separate C and C++ units, with shared interface headers under include/nvx/.
NoovexOS 64 v10.00 has working sudo and apt install, ported glibc, and real Debian .deb package support. apt resolves dependencies and verifies package SHA-256 checksums. CPython 3.13 includes Tkinter and real IDLE, with Tk windows appearing directly on the desktop.
You can download software packages with apt, but not every program will run on NoovexOS. Firefox ESR does: after sudo apt install firefox-esr, Firefox opens and draws its own window on the NoovexOS desktop. Downloading or installing other packages does not guarantee they can launch or work correctly.
